J and I went to see Tropic Thunder. Hilarious. Further hilarity came from paying attention to our fellow audience members' reactions. Some of them were absolutely priceless. At one point the girl in front of us absolutely started howling with laughter. Hee.

After the trailer for the gay priest movie ran, I told J: "I'd pay to see that."

In fact, I'm still thinking about RDJ and Tobey Maguire making out.

As a result of my continued thoughtful-face, J says to me: "Well, now you can draw Iron Man/Spiderman. There's your connection."

I actually contemplated this. Who knew Tony Stark could make me want to slash Peter Parker.


Also, we saw the trailer for Scorpion King II which absolutely kills me. J had just told me the other day that they had made a second one. As much as I love the first one for being wonderfully terrible, this one is uh, going to be a pass. :p

I want to do a bit more drawing today, but I think I'm just going to curl in bed since I had a productive morning. Can't believe my "weekend" is practically over already. I never even got the laundry done!

    I'm glad it was funny. I saw the poster of Robert Downey Jr. in blackface and had a big moment of 'Oh, no...'

      That was common reaction I think, but they pulled it off really well imo. I felt like it brought a lot of the problems with blackface into the spotlight. I was actually kind of surprised since I know a lot of the wank pre-release was blackface related, but recently it's seemingly all been from the disabled advocacy groups for the use of "retard". Excellent satire though, smart and dumb at the same time. :3

    I considered seeing this just for RDJr.

    Now I'm almost more interested in gay priest trailer. oO!

      Hee. It's a spoof trailer, but man, I wish it were a real movie. 'cause RDJ and Tobey Maguire? I'd hit that.

    Just saw it tonight myself, and DIED laughing. We seriously left the theater in stitches and couldn't stop half the way home. ^^
    We feel the same about the Priest movie too. Hehe. It should be done.
