Lookit me, finishing pics left and right...during what are essentially my finals. Aharhr. >_>;

HP has been eating my brain a little in terms of looking at what's in my in progress folder and finding fun images to work on. This is a long overdue gift for karasu_hime who drew me a lovely jack/will/elizabeth several months back in a little ot3 exchange. <333

  Oh. I like the trichotomy here. (And yep, that is a word! I looked it up to be sure. ;)) You've got Lily, the very image of youth, health and vitality. She glows and is blemish free. Then there's Severus, who looks old before his time with his sallow skin and the lines on his face. There's also the suggestion of...not emaciation, but of being unhealthily thin around his ribs and collar bone. Really, his hair is the only 'healthy' thing about him. And then Remus, the third point of this triangle. While not as unhealthy as Severus, he still shows the wear and tear of a difficult and cursed life. He seems sad, even when he's with Lily and Severus. On top of desiring Lily for herself, I see the two of them desiring, protecting, perhaps even envying Lily her bloom. Her vitality.
  
  ::coughs:: And you're probably thinking I'm a complete weirdo. :p Oh well. I do really like it though. :D

    <333 Thank you so very much for the feedback. This isn't at all a pairing (trio!) that I've really spent a lot of mental time on, so sitting down and drawing it was interesting. It made me think a lot about how it could work, and oh, even if I have a tough time splitting Lily from James, putting her between these two wasn't thaaat hard. ^_~
