Lookit me, finishing pics left and right...during what are essentially my finals. Aharhr. >_>;

HP has been eating my brain a little in terms of looking at what's in my in progress folder and finding fun images to work on. This is a long overdue gift for [info]karasu_hime who drew me a lovely jack/will/elizabeth several months back in a little ot3 exchange. <333

    Oh. I like the trichotomy here. (And yep, that is a word! I looked it up to be sure. ;)) You've got Lily, the very image of youth, health and vitality. She glows and is blemish free. Then there's Severus, who looks old before his time with his sallow skin and the lines on his face. There's also the suggestion of...not emaciation, but of being unhealthily thin around his ribs and collar bone. Really, his hair is the only 'healthy' thing about him. And then Remus, the third point of this triangle. While not as unhealthy as Severus, he still shows the wear and tear of a difficult and cursed life. He seems sad, even when he's with Lily and Severus. On top of desiring Lily for herself, I see the two of them desiring, protecting, perhaps even envying Lily her bloom. Her vitality.

    ::coughs:: And you're probably thinking I'm a complete weirdo. :p Oh well. I do really like it though. :D

      <333 Thank you so very much for the feedback. This isn't at all a pairing (trio!) that I've really spent a lot of mental time on, so sitting down and drawing it was interesting. It made me think a lot about how it could work, and oh, even if I have a tough time splitting Lily from James, putting her between these two wasn't thaaat hard. ^_~

    Gosh, this is beautiful. I can't be as eloquent as [info]anihime above (though I love the thoughts presented there). I can just say that it's a gorgeous picture. With my fascination with texture it's Lily's hair that gets me here - it's incredibly beautiful and rich. I just want to bury my hands in it. (I guess a certain fascination for red-headed women doesn't hurt either ;-) )

    Lily looks beautiful-smooth skin and the hair color is spectacular. The boys both look as they should-a bit worse for wear but very much themselves. Lovely, lovely picture.

    This is fabulous, with Remus looking all sexy with his scars, and Snape leaving love bites, and the fall of the fabric on Lily's dress, and Lily and Remus' hair, and yeah, everything is gorgeous.

    Maybe I'm just weird, but it's absolutely Snape's mouth that I keep returning to look at again. There's so much motion (and emotion) in this picture. It's wonderful. MMMM.

    Oh, WOW. Oh, I love Remus's face (beautiful!) and the arch of Lily's neck and the ecstasy on her face, and Remus toying with her lingerie strap, and the contrast with Snape's jolie-laide features. Wonderful, so wonderful!

Starting it before book seven, but finishing it after certainly made me see a few things differently. :3 I almost did a longer haired, blonder Remus to match more with yours (since I love your version of him like crazy) but decided I'd just stick with my standard. ^^

    That has to be one of the most beautiful pieces of fanwork I've ever seen. Lily's creamy skin contrasts nicely with Snape's sallowness. And the passion!

    I love how...in the moment they all are - Lily's head thrown back and her fingers twined in Severus's hair...Remus gazing as if this is the most beautiful thing he's ever seen and he can't quite believe it...and Severus...omg, Severus! He's so lost in Lily it doesn't look like he's ever going to surface...his eyes, his mouth on her throat...his utterly lickable collarbone...nngahhhh...

    I was just linked to this on AIM, with a casually prefaced, "Have you seen this yet?" and I'm given the link, and I hadn't seen it yet, but then I did see it and I felt like this art was directly connected with my genitlia because I want to rub myself against this my computer screen like a dog.

    It's gorgeous. The curve of Lily's breast is killing me. As if Snape's hair and nose. And GOOD GOD THIS REMUS IS HOT AS FUCK AND I WANT TO EAT HIM.

    Okay, that was dizilla at crack_broom. My brain is still full of OH. MY. GOD!
    I am in love with your colours, the way the light shines on everyone's hair, the way Lily's gripping Severus' hair OMGSERIOUSLYDED! In fact, Lily's entire body position is so evocative and the way that Remus is curled behind her, seeing what he wants and a mere moment from partaking.
    And Severus! To me he has the intensity of a man who is finally getting what he's longed for - I adore it!

    I also really like your there-but-almost-not-there background. This entire piece is really quite stunning.
